Job Title: Senior Software Engineer for Edge AI Applications

Salary: Competitive

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire (a city repeatedly voted among the best places to live in the UK)

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent

UBIETY Technologies Ltd. requires a senior software engineer to develop the software stack for precision Edge-AI measurement instruments serving energy-transition, industrial and healthcare markets. Each instrument couples an analogue front end with a modern SoC-FPGA platform combining programmable logic (PL) with an embedded processing system (PS).

The role works alongside an FPGA specialist, who owns the PL for deterministic timing, acquisition and high-rate data movement, and an algorithms engineer, who develops the measurement algorithms in MATLAB and Python.

The software engineer owns the PS side of the PS–PL boundary: register maps, DMA buffers, interrupts, device tree, embedded Linux services for control, processing, diagnostics, industrial communication and user interaction, and the backend processing and user-facing interfaces. A central task is to translate the MATLAB/Python reference algorithms onto the PS — and, with the FPGA specialist, onto the PL. The three roles operate as a single team, and broader cross-disciplinary collaboration is expected and valued.

Job Title: Senior Hardware Engineer – Electronics

Salary: Competitive

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire (a city repeatedly voted among the best places to live in the UK)

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent

UBIETY Technologies Ltd. requires a Senior (Electronics) Hardware Engineer, who will be central to our technology development, leading the definition, design, build and test of new products from initial conception to production within a high-performance R&D team operating under core SCRUM principles.

Our work develops precision analogue and digital measurement devices with substantial embedded compute — improving sensor sensitivity, signal-processing performance and on-device analytics — so the role best suits candidates who straddle in-depth hardware and good embedded/firmware skill sets.

Job Title: ERPNext Engineer – Self-Hosted ERP/PLM Systems

Salary: Competitive

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire (a city repeatedly voted among the best places to live in the UK)

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent

UBIETY Technologies Ltd. is putting in place a company-wide PLM/ERP/BPM framework as the digital backbone of the business— from engineering bills of materials through manufacturing, procurement, stock, projects and HR.

We require an engineer with proven, hands-on experience of deploying and managing ERPNext (or an equivalent Frappe-based system) in-house on a self-hosted Linux server, to own the deployment end to end: infrastructure, installation, configuration, business-process mapping, data migration, integrations, training and go-live, followed by ongoing administration and continuous improvement. The system is on-premise by design; this is not a cloud/SaaS administration role. The post holder will work closely with engineering, operations and management, integrating the ERP with our accounting platform and our quality and product-lifecycle processes, and will join a high-performance team operating under core SCRUM principles.
